Caboolture
The Caboolture district of the Moreton Bay Regional Council is north of Pine Rivers and spans from Bribie Island to the east to the scenic D'Aguilar Ranges, Woodford and Mount Mee to the West. The Bruce Highway and rail line run north through the heavily populated areas of Morayfield and Caboolture. Bribie Island has the first surf beaches north of Brisbane as well as sheltered beaches of Moreton Bay and Pumicestone Passage.
In the west, where the the region borders with Kilcoy, you'll find fresh mountain air and views from the D'Aguilar Ranges. In the south, Caboolture borders with Pine Rivers District and Redcliffe. East is Pumicestone Passage, Bribie Island and Moreton Bay. North is the Sunshine Coast.
The Brisbane suburban rail system, and the Bruce Highway, come north through Caboolture and on to the Sunshine Coast.
